Donations to the 2026 OMIK Scholarship Fund and purchases from the OMIK Store, together with support from the Amateur Radio Digital Communications Foundation (ARDC), have made it possible for The Fund to award twelve scholarships to students attending college, most with STEM fields of study. 

Scholarship amounts were $1,000, $1,500 and $2,000 and will be paid to the awardees in August, 2026. The OMIK Scholarship Fund Committee is grateful for all of the donations to the fund.

2026 scholarship recipients’ names and their state of residence have been placed on the OMIK Amateur Radio website under the Scholarship information tab. We were pleased to have a very diverse pool of awardees this year. There were applications from nine states and 42% of the applicants applied to OMIK for the first tme. Two of the awardees will be attending HBCUs. One awardee is an Eagle Scout. Awardees are attending schools in eight different states.
